Update on my current work 16-10-2012 I have just begun to illustrate a new story with lovely poems by Antonia Rodenas for the Sopa de Libros collection in Editorial Anaya.

Finally, painting. Children are the principal theme of my work. Girls and boys who look inquisitively, tenderly, at us, with pain or surprise, who question us, intimating the adults they will one day become. There is always some detonating force that pushes me to paint. There’s always a child who wants to be portrayed, who wants expression through my brushstrokes. This creates a dialogue between us. I paint this look at this moment in time as my homage.

"The tube or everything is relative but tell it like it is" Synopsis 09-10-2012 THE TUBE OR EVERYTHING IS RELATIVE BUT TELL IT LIKE IT IS addresses fear of change, of how we hang on to our things and what we know even though they are no longer useful; of the often absurd pressure of society on the individual; of the exhausting struggle to just get by; of losing the reason for being. In Slawomir Mrozek’s stories his observant, intelligent gaze, satirical and at times cuttingly cruel, helps us construct the universe of an individual who tries to understand the world in which he lives.
